File - Supplier - Group 2

Like buy price names, Micronet can store the item sell price names for your Price Group 2 (retail) customers:

• globally – the same sell price names are used for every item (these are set in the general company configuration – refer to "Edit - Price Names - Price Group 2")
• per product category – each product category type could have different sell price names (refer to "File - Product Category - Group 2 Names")
• against each supplier or per each item where the sell price name is stored differently for each item (refer to the procedure below and to "File - Inventory - Price Names").

Technical Tip The option to set the way you want sell price names to appear is setup in the company configuration. Refer to the Sell Price Breaks field on the Invoicing Configuration screen (refer to "Edit - Program - Invoicing"), and to the Sell Price Names field on the Inventory Configuration screen (refer to "Edit - Program - Purchasing"). This tab is only enabled if the Sell Price Names field on the Inventory Configuration screen is set to Item then Supplier then Company.

You use the Supplier Update screen - Group 2 tab if Micronet is setup for individual item sell price names, to set specific item sell price names for each supplier of a product. These sell price names are displayed on product inquiry screens and optionally on product reports.

To enter retail sell price names for a supplier:

1. Add a new supplier or open an existing one.

Refer to "Adding a New Supplier" or "Updating a Supplier".

2. Select the Group 2 tab.

Micronet displays the Supplier Update screen - Group 2 tab.

3. Complete the following fields:

4. Select FILE | SAVE.

5. Optionally, if you are using the Micronet Creditor’s Ledger (MCL), you should update the changes to the creditor in MCL by making sure that the EDIT | UPDATE CREDITOR menu option is checked.
